What is the attitude of your heart? God looks at our hearts – He cares about the state of our heart. Your singing pitch, your music, your venue etc. doesn’t play a part towards whether you are worshipping correctly or not.

In the bible, a woman asked Jesus about the different ways one can worship. Jesus replied, “But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” (John 4:23). Worshipping “in spirit and in truth” means that you are genuine in your act of praise and worship. Your heart must truthfully desire the fellowship of God. You cannot be doing it for show – just to go through the motion of things or to tick off an expectation.
